Our characters are generic inspiration gathered from the most popular fairytale characters.

Any resemblance to nationally known copyrighted characters is incidental.

Party Policies

BOOKING: Parties must be booked at least two weeks in advance. Parties booked within 14 days of requested party date are subject to a $50 rush fee.

 

WEATHER: For the sake of our performers' safety and the maintenance of our equipment, we will not perform parties outdoors in temperatures below 65F or exceeding 90F. For temperatures 75F-90F there must be a shade option. If there is any form of inclement weather (rain, hail, wind, snow, etc.), with any level of severity, the client assumes full responsibility to find an indoor alternate venue and notify Pixie Dust Parties with a minimum of 24 hours notice. If finding an indoor venue is for any reason not possible, a "rain date" may be scheduled on an available date. If no date can be settled upon before one week (7 days) of the original event date, this contract shall become null and void, all deposit and balance payments shall be refunded, and both parties shall have no further legal recourse against each other.  In the summer, a shaded area is required to be provided for our performer.

ARRIVAL: For your princess' arrival, we ask that in order to preserve the magic you keep all children inside. While we may say we arrive via magic carpet or horse drawn carriage, we really arrive via Subaru. 

 

OVERTIME: Princesses are very busy ladies! Should a party run more than 15 minutes over the allotted time there will be a surcharge. Parties can always be extended, if scheduling allows. 

 

PRESERVING THE MAGIC: Some people (children and adults) aren't as enthusiastic about Princesses as we are. That's okay! However, we do ask that you as a host encourage your guests and children to play along or remove themselves. It's no fun for others if there's someone actively trying to ruin the magic! For the entire duration of our performers being on scene, our performers will remain in character! Please refrain from referring to the performer by their given name, or asking questions about the costume or company. We would be happy to answer these questions outside after the party without little eyes or ears nearby, or via phone, e-mail or Facebook! Please help us to keep the magic alive!

 

GRATUITY: Gratuity for the performers is not required, but if you feel the performers were exceptional in their party, it is always appreciated.

GUARDIAN REQUIREMENTS: If at any time a performer or Event Host is left alone with the party attendees for more than 5 minutes, an Event Host will ask for a parent/guardian to stay within the event area. Failure to have a parent/guardian present after this request will result in the performer or Event Host leaving with full compensation from the client.

COSTUMES: It's very expensive to keep up the costumes and wigs necessary to present princesses in their best light. Please be mindful of this and eliminated any possibilities that may endanger costumes and wigs at your event.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY: You will have the opportunity to film, photograph, or simply enjoy the entire event! If you want to share the photos you take, feel free to tag us on facebook, Instagram, or email them to us! You may see your photo reposted on our page!

 

CANCELATION POLICY: Parties can be canceled within 14 days for a full refund. If canceling within 14 days of the party, 50% of the cost of the party will be refunded. Parties can be rescheduled within 14 days of the originally party date for no penalty. If either party must cancel the engagement due to an “Act of God”, “Force Majeure”, riot, strike, epidemic, or by the order of any public authority, a “rain date” may be arranged on an available date. If no date can be settled upon within 30 days, this contract shall become null and void, all deposit and balance payments shall be refunded, and both parties shall have no further legal recourse against each other. 

SUBSTANCE USE: We do not allow smoking, excessive alcohol, or the use of any other substance while our performers are in attendance at an event. Any guest smoking or intoxicated will be asked by the Event Host to step outside. Failure to comply will result in the character(s) leaving the party immediately with full compensation from the client.

 

ANIMALS: While we at Pixie Dust Parties are avid animal lovers, we ask for the protection of our performers and of our costumes, for pets to be leashed and away from the Character. The Princess reserves the right to ask for any unleashed pets to be leashed and/or removed from the party space. Failure to comply will result in the character(s) leaving the party immediately with full compensation from the client.

 

PERFORMER RIGHTS: If at any time a performer or feels that they are in a threatening, hostile, unsafe, harmful, hazardous, or unsanitary environment, that performer retains the right to leave with full compensation from the client. The performer also has the right to refuse to perform services if the client is negligent, absent, inattentive, disrespectful, and/or inebriated or under the influence of any foreign substance.
